How to remove Educational Plot Stamp
by CMD (Chelt office)
CAD Tips
Have you ever received a file from someone that was created using an Educational version of AutoCAD? If so, you will probably notice that when you go to print the drawing it will only print with an educational plot stamp. If you copy anything out of this drawing into your own, it will also infect your drawing with the same educational plot stamp. To get round this problem, type dxfout into the command line, save the dxf file in a location you can easily access, now type dxfin into the command line, browse the dxf file and save as a dwg. When you open the dwg file, you will notice that the Educational plot stamp has been removed. Please note, we do not endorse this solution if you own an educational copy of autocad, go buy the full version!
